Our Commitment

We want you to be confident in every JK Leather purchase. We offer returns and exchanges under defined conditions to ensure product integrity, hygiene, and quality standards. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law and provide refunds where required.

Each JK Leather piece is handcrafted — we encourage thoughtful purchasing to minimise unnecessary returns. This reduces environmental impact and honours the time and craftsmanship invested in each garment.

Change of Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within 7 days of delivery, at our discretion.

  • Item must be returned unworn and unused, in original condition.
  • Returned with all packaging, tags, and proof of purchase.
  • Approved returns within this period will receive a full refund.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We do not reimburse shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.

Size Exchanges

First Size Exchange — Covered

We offer exchanges within the same 7 days of delivery, subject to stock availability.

  • Item must be returned unworn and unused, in original condition with all packaging, tags, and proof of purchase.
  • For your first size exchange, we cover return shipping and will send the exchanged product back to you free of charge within 3–5 business days.
  • Subsequent exchanges may incur additional return shipping costs payable by the customer.

Returns After 7 Days (Store Credit Only)

Returns requested after the 7th day and within 30 days of delivery may be accepted at our discretion.

  • Approved returns within this period will be issued as store credit only with no expiry.
  • We do not reimburse shipping costs. Return shipping is paid by the customer.

Condition of Returns

All items are inspected upon return. JK Leather reserves the right to refuse a return if the product shows signs of:

  • Wear or use
  • Damage or alteration
  • Missing packaging or tags

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty or incorrect, JK Leather will cover all return shipping costs and ensure you receive a replacement or full refund.

If the item is faulty, not as described, or does not meet acceptable quality standards under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or full refund. In these cases, we will cover return shipping.

Natural Material Notice

Full-grain leather is a natural material. Variation in texture, grain, and tone is expected and part of its character. Leather also softens and develops a patina over time. This evolution is intentional and not considered a defect.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Worn items (other than trying on for size and fit)
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or promotional purchases

Processing Times

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your exchange, refund, or store credit and notify you via email.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 3 business days. Please allow 7–14 business days for funds to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
  • Approved store credit will be applied to your customer account with no expiry.
  • Size exchanges will be sent within 3–5 business days, subject to stock availability.
All returns must be authorised by our customer care team prior to sending. Unapproved returns may not be accepted. Contact us to initiate a return or exchange.

Warranty

Our products are made with the best quality full-grain leather. Our limited warranty covers faults in workmanship or materials within 12 months of purchase. If this occurs, we will replace or repair your product at our discretion.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, neglect, normal wear and tear, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.

Colour fading or darkening, marking, and stretching due to regular usage all add to the character of your piece — they are not considered faults.
